Topside planking
The
Edwin Fox has two layers of teak planking. Here we are looking at the topside amidships, at about the level of the deck. At the top of the picture are planks that run fore-and-aft along the line of the sheer. Below them are planks that run athwartships. On the right are some remnants of the copper sheathing that used to cover the whole hull.
