Napier rebuilt

A ceramic plaque by Sue Earth, 1992, photographed hanging on the wall of the Deco Centre, Napier. The label says: This plaque is identical to one of the seat inserts in Emerson Street. It is based on the New Napier Carnival poster which promoted the carnival held to celebrate the reconstruction of Napier in 1933. The plaque is about 300 mm diameter.
